Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and freight details throughout each shift
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to uphold a secure working environment
Experience
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with aggregate transportation or heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with ELD
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to perform routine maintenance checks
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules
- Strong communication skills for clear coordination with team members and dispatchers

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
