Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled service calls at restaurants, commercial kitchens, shared laundry facilities and other business properties.
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration, cooking, warewashing, ice, laundry and related equipment within your demonstrated capability.
- Assess electrical, refrigeration, ventilation, water and drain-related systems methodically and safely.
- Explain findings, operational impact and recommended repair scope to the site contact before approved work proceeds.
- Document model and serial information, readings, photos, parts and test results in the mobile work-order system.
- Maintain an organized work area and work around active commercial operations with appropriate care.
- Escalate parts, access, safety or capability limitations promptly so the request can be reviewed correctly.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with commercial appliance repair, restaurant equipment, refrigeration or commercial laundry systems relevant to the opening.
- Ability to diagnose equipment independently using appropriate meters, gauges and service information.
- Working knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, ventilation, water and drain-related components.
- Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and suitable commercial diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication skills for working with owners, kitchen teams, facility staff and property managers.
- Professional presentation, accurate documentation and dependable appointment management.
- Gas, refrigeration, sealed-system or manufacturer training is an asset where applicable.
