EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE DETAILER Medicine Hat Honda – Medicine Hat, Alberta Murray Medicine Hat Honda is looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. THE POSITION As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for professionally cleaning and preparing new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery and display. Along with customer cleans. The ideal candidate will have previous automotive detailing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment and as a team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Thoroughly clean and detail interior and exterior vehicle surfaces ● Wash, vacuum, shampoo, polish, wax, and buff vehicles as required ● Clean windows, wheels, tires, carpets, upholstery, and trim ● Perform stain and odour removal ● Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display ● Complete pre-owned vehicle reconditioning to dealership standards ● Perform power polish and headlight restoration as needed ● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area ● Operate detailing equipment and products safely and properly ● Identify and report any damage or concerns found during the detailing process ● Assist with other dealership cleaning and vehicle preparation duties as required ● Follow all workplace health and safety procedures ● Accessory installation and windshield chip repair QUALIFICATIONS ● Previous automotive detailing experience required ● Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team ● Good time-management and organizational skills ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ● Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record ● Clean Criminal Record Check ● Ability to safely move and operate vehicles ● Professional, reliable, and positive attitude● Experience power polishing and headlight restoration considered an asset ● Availability- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with the flexibility to work some Saturdays Additional Experience – Considered an Asset Experience with automotive accessory installation and windshield chip repair is considered an asset, but is not required.
