Your Opportunity:
Administrative Support III provides clerical and administrative support for the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital Women’s Clinic, primarily supporting the Family Obstetrics Clinic. This incumbent must demonstrate effective time management and ability to multitask to support this clinic in addition to the other Women Health clinics that operate in this area. This position requires independent judgement and willingness to learn the different processes for each clinic. You will be responsible for registering patients, booking appointments, receiving and sending referrals, and managing work queues within Connect Care. The successful incumbent needs to be detail orientated as this position involves timekeeping and payroll tasks. A high level of computer skills with ambulatory knowledge of workflow in Connect Care is required. The incumbent needs to maintain a positive public image to patients, visitors, staff and physicians.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk or MOA program. Demonstrated communication skills verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Initiate to problem solve, prioritize and organize workload independently. Ability to work well within a team and deal effectively with conflict. Experience with Ambulatory workflow in Connect Care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with timekeeping in E-people or checking timecards in WFM.
