Terralta/Air-Tech is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Medicine Hat.

We have provided residential and commercial maintenance and service for over 20 years, serving Medicine Hat and Southern Alberta areas.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues in water supply, drainage, and piping systems. The Plumber will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and hot water tanks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
• Complete new installations and renovations according to code and specifications
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner to address customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to work independently

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing systems.
• Ability to install and maintain various types of plumbing equipment and fixtures.
• Experience with pipe fitting, soldering, and system assembly.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Valid class 5 driver's license is required
• Valid Fall Protection, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, H2S Alive and First Aid training considered an asset.

Competitive hourly wage starting at $38/hour, with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications.
