We are looking for an Assistant Manager for our store in Medicine Hat Mall, Alberta.
We require someone with a minimum of 2 years in the retail industry with sales experience and leadership qualities. Following training, assistant managers and staff will be required to work alone on shift during most opening and closing hours.
Availability for most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays is required. Hours are expected to range 20-30 per week, during mall hours. Wage within our advertised range is dependent on experience.
Other key responsibilities are the motivation to create beautiful visual displays, and they'll be dedicated to our Culture Craze customers by maintaining genuine and helpful interactions. Culture Craze provides customers with high-quality body jewelry and prides itself on knowledgeable team members who are passionate about the body modification industry! As an assistant manager you'll be expected to maintain those standards and create a positive environment where our customers feel comfortable and enthusiastic to shop with us. Body jewellery experience will be considered an asset.
Duties include managing all in-store operations such as:
- Sales through enthusiastic and dedicated customer service
- Learning brand knowledge for our clothing, body jewellery, accessories, etc
- Inventory and stock reporting - use of excel and/or Google Sheets required
- Merchandising - refilling sold merchandise, creating displays
- Receiving orders - reporting errors, steaming clothing
- Assist coaching high performing store team
- Bank deposits

Benefits may be available, dependent on hours of availability per week.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
