Join our dynamic team as a Shop Foreman / Tow Truck Operator - Assistant Manager, where you'll lead daily operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role combines hands-on towing and vehicle recovery with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring efficient shop workflow and exceptional customer service. You'll oversee tow truck operations, manage team members, and support vehicle repairs, all while maintaining safety standards and fostering a positive work atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop activities, vehicle recovery, and repair tasks
- Operate tow trucks safely to retrieve and transport vehicles as needed
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs professionally
- Assign work, assist with repairs and and monitor progress so equipment is ready for service.
- Uphold safety protocols across all shop operations, including proper equipment use and hazard awareness
- Maintain accurate records of tow logs, repair reports, and operational documentation
- Work closely with Operations and Dispatch to prioritize equipment needs
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or maintenance in heavy duty repairs.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record & criminal background for towing operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Hands-on experience operating tow trucks and familiarity with basic automotive diagnostics is and asset.
- Ability to lead a team efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
