Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sandblaster/Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces through abrasive blasting and applying protective coatings to ensure equipment durability and optimal performance. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for painting or coating applications
- Apply paint, primers, or protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers with precision and consistency
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, uniformity, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting and painting tools, including power tools and hand tools
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks as needed to support manufacturing workflows
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial sandblasting, painting, or coating applications preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during surface preparation and coating application
- Knowledge of safety standards related to abrasive blasting and painting environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with crane or forklift operation is a plus but not required

Pay: $3,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
