Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation and cleanliness protocols
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or screening processes
