Excavator Operator

Full job description

We’re looking for a Excavator Operator to join our team. Applicant must have Excavator experience. Competitive compensation is commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a similar role;
• Be able to read locate sheets and site plans;
• Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain equipment;
• Be willing to attest to their physical fitness;
• Be able to take direction;
• Be flexible and function effectively with others or alone; and
• Take pride in the work performed.
• Have knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.

Safety Tickets (e.g. Class 1, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space Entry, H2S, First Aid) are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

• Maintain the equipment and tools in good condition.
• Perform all tasks associated with deep utility services including, but not limited to

- Operating equipment,
- Shoveling,
- Digging,
- Lifting;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
