Lead Lawn Care Technician (Hands-On Crew Leader) – trainee

We’re looking for a Lead Technician trainee who leads from the front.

This isn’t a "sit in the truck" supervisor role — we need a pro who works alongside the team, mentors co-workers, and takes full ownership of every property’s finish. If you have a spotless driving record and a "get it done right" attitude, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do:

• You will work with our existing Lead Technician to learn the ins and outs of the leadership role, duties, skills and expectations of the job.
• Once fully trained, you will step into the leadership role when our current Lead Technician is away and/or working at different job sites.
• You will not always be required to work as the Lead Technician but must be flexible and willing to step into the role when required. At times when you are not the Leader you will still work as part of the Team to ensure properties look their best.
• Lead by Example: Work directly with the team in the field; you’re the first one to unload equipment and the last to check the gate.
• Expert Operation: Safely transport equipment, pull/reverse trailers, and operate commercial mowers and other lawn equipment with precision.
• Supervise: Assist and work with co-workers to ensure all company directions are followed.
• Quality First: Use your sharp attention to detail to ensure every job is completed exactly as expected by the company.

Must-Haves:

• Drivers License: Valid Class 5, non GDL
• Safe Driver: A clean driver’s abstract and years of accident-free driving experience.
• Reliable Transport: Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work every day.
• Technical Skill: Experience with commercial lawn equipment and trailer maneuvering.
• Stamina: The ability to work hard and put in long hours during the April rush, with routine/regular hours throughout the rest of the season.
• Team Mindset: The ability to supervise while being an active, hardworking member of the crew.
• Accountability: A track record of completing daily duties on time and up to professional standards.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
