Key Responsibilities
- Planning: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to calculate requirements and prepare project layouts.
- Construction: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems.
- Installation: Fit and install interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, moulding, cabinetry, and hardware.
- Scope of work: Interior and exterior renovations including but not limited to; Building Decks, Windows, Doors, Building Fences, Building Garages, Home Building, Finishing Work, Duradek and deck finishes, Railing, General Framing and Construction.
- Repair: Assess, remove, and replace damaged framework, structures, or wooden fixtures.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools (e.g., saws, sanders, nail guns, and laser levels).
- Safety: Maintain a clean workspace and strict compliance with health and safety standards.
- Demo, Prep and Install Duradek *Training will be provided if necessary.
Must be able to get to work reliably.
Willing to work longer hours in the summer and have shorter hours in the winter.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Medicine Hat, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Carpentry/Renovation: 4 years (preferred)
