Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packaging and shipping various used car parts, from small packages to engines on skids. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for using the business delivery vehicle to deliver car parts to local businesses in Lethbridge and Coaldale, therefore you will also need to possess a clean class 5 license, strong driving skills and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Identify automotive parts, clean and prepare the parts for shipping or delivery.
• Use various options to clean parts before delivery i.e. rags, brushes, pressure washer.
• Package parts for delivery either with bubble wrap, cardboard, boxes or on a skid.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid class 5 driver's license.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management.
• Experience operating skid steer is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience in moving or logistics is beneficial but not required.
