Temporary Bus Driver

Do you prefer the open road to being stuck behind a desk? Do you have an excellent driving record and customer service skills? Diversified Transportation may have the opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking experienced Drivers to join our team in Medicine Hat. This is a full-time temporary opportunity lasting until September 2026.

• Operations run 7 days a week
• Rotation is 21 days on / 7 days off (subject to change)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety mindset to get all of our riders, drivers, and the general public Safely Home
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Deliver excellent customer service to passengers and clients
• Ensure compliance with Provincial Hours of Service and adhere to all Diversified policies and procedures
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Complete and submit daily DVCR’s and FLRA’s

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driver’s license
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience operating motor coaches, school buses, or other similar large vehicles preferred
• Ability to obtain clearance for: driving record check (abstract with no more than 3 demerits), a pre-employment check ride, physical demands testing, drug and alcohol test, and criminal record check
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Teamwork and positive mindset
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes, schedules, and job assignments
