Medicine Hat High School
Temporary English Teacher
From Oct. 1, 2026 to January 29, 2027
A part-time (0.5 FTE) temporary teacher (afternoons) is required at Medicine Hat High School to serve as an English teacher. The ideal candidate would be an English major/minor with experience teaching High School English and/or EAL. This educational team member should have an adaptive style that can create an inspirational, creative, and inclusive classroom climate, as well as maintain a strong focus on all elements of the Optimal Learning Environment. This individual must value student learning and achievement and agree with the mission, vision, values and goals of the school and the school district. A commitment to extracurricular activities would also be an asset.
Located in the Southwest Hill area, Medicine Hat High School has a total student population of approximately 1250 students.
