Job Overview
We are seeking motivated Third or Fourth Year Electrical Apprentices to join our team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop advanced skills in electrical systems within a dynamic construction and industrial environment. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks, and contributing to large-scale projects. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in electrical work, a commitment to safety, and a desire to grow their expertise in the field.
Duties
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution
- Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and effectively
- Perform wiring tasks including low voltage systems and control wiring
- Support the setup and troubleshooting of electrical components and circuits
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Maintain organized work areas and document work performed as required
Experience
- Prior experience with residential and commercial electrician tasks is preferred; relevant construction experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage systems is beneficial
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in construction environments is a plus
- Previous experience working with construction teams or in industrial settings will be considered an asset
