Competition # 634 – Custodian II

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join the facilities team at St. Mary’s School. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience and commitment to supporting the school, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean facilities and contents using a variety of equipment and chemical products.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Perform all physical aspects of the role (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Work independently and demonstrate self-direction and motivation with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Preferred:  High school diploma.
• Required:  Previous custodial experience.
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and workplace safety protocols.
• Proficiency in technology, including Google email and internet navigation.
• Provide a successful PDA

• A commitment to Catholic education, including adherence to Gospel principles and the teachings of the Catholic Church in both professional and personal life, as a condition of employment.
