Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
• Use POS systems such as Toast for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage preparation
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent hospitality service

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, with a focus on serving or bartending preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cash transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Hospitality mindset with a personable demeanor that makes guests feel welcome
