Duties
- Deliver professional hair styling and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences and needs
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, understanding their desired looks and offering expert advice
- Promote retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, processing payments, and greeting clients
- Upsell services and products effectively while ensuring a positive customer experience
- Keep detailed records of services provided and follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for everyone
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling or barbering with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
- Strong communication skills to clearly discuss styles, treatments, and product recommendations
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally without pressuring clients
- Previous experience managing front desk operations or retail sales is a plus
- A professional attitude with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
