Full job description
I am a quadriplegic seeking a compassionate reliable health care aide assist me with my daily needs. Paid orientation provided to the successful candidates . . Shift length is 5 to 7+ hours per day.
Responsibilities include
assistance with medications
bathing and bowel care, suppositories
feeding
dressing/undressing and grooming
knowledge of catheters and switching from night bags to leg bags
skin/wound care
Some personal laundry and light house cleaning
Applicants-
Not a live in situation
Must have a valid drivers license and personal transportation
Should have completed the HCA course but may consider training an exemplary candidate
Must have valid criminal record check
Must live in Medicine Hat or close vicinity
This is a shared position between 1-2 other employees
