What We’re Looking For

We are hiring a full-time Residential Service Supervisor (Team Lead) to support our REDIlives program. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of individuals in our REDIlives program and would be leading a team of dedicated caregivers.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep our residential spaces safe, supportive, and respectful for both the people we support and our staff
  • Guide, coach, and mentor staff to create a positive, collaborative workplace
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with team members, leadership, the people we support, and community partners
  • Monitor the physical and emotional health of the people we support
  • Handle program budgets and use resources effectively
  • Maintain accurate records regarding care, incidents, and staff performance

What you bring

You have a solid knowledge of the specific needs and challenges faced by people with disabilities. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with staff, individuals, families, and other professionals. You have the ability to motivate, guide, and coach staff members to deliver quality support services. Supervisors juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, and you would have strong time management skills to navigate these competing demands while keeping calm under pressure.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Current First Aid (Level C) / CPR Certificate
  • Everyday computer skills required for daily administrative tasks
  • A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (or one acceptable to our Executive Director)

Pay: $26.50 per hour

Experience:

  • Supervisory: 2 years (required)
