Overview
The Sample Fabric Cutter is responsible for preparing fabric swatches and samples in accordance with exact specifications for design, sales, and quality assurance purposes. This role involves assembling sample sheets for distribution and ensuring that each piece accurately represents the product. High-quality, precisely cut fabric samples help support marketing and sales efforts by making a strong impression on clients. The position demands careful attention to detail, skillful handling of various textiles, and a solid understanding of fabric types to ensure consistent accuracy and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize fabric samples for evaluation and review
- Adhere to established protocols and procedures during sample preparation
- Accurately record and input data related to sample tracking and processing
- Keep the sample preparation workspace clean, organized, and safe
- Support inventory tracking and management of sample materials
- Work closely with team members to ensure sample preparation tasks are completed on schedule
Requirements
- Skilled in using office software, including Google Workspace applications
- Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
- Prior experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles is an asset
