Summary
We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at Dennys & Bar One. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings closing till 12am and weekends.
