Experienced Journeyman Tile Installer
Location: Medicine Hat, AB
Pay: $3000 – $5000 biweekly
Design Flooring Centre is a well‑established commercial and residential flooring contractor that has proudly served Alberta since 1997. We are currently seeking two journeyman flooring and wall tile installers to join our growing team in Medicine Hat.
This is a subcontract position or an employee position offering consistent work, competitive earnings, and long‑term stability. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy working on a variety of projects, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
· Install floor and wall tile in both residential and commercial settings
· Prepare job sites, including sweeping, vacuuming, spreading adhesive, mixing floor patch, self‑levelling, and removal of existing materials
· Measure, cut, and install materials with precision and efficiency
· Safely transport materials and tools to and from job sites
All installation materials, accessories, and trims are provided.
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum 2 year of tile‑setting experience
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Own tools required
· Professional, dependable, and customer‑focused
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
· A team player with excellent time management and work ethic
Schedule & Compensation
· Full‑time, Monday to Friday
· Paid bi‑weekly
· No training provided – this role is intended for experienced installers
· Current contracts secured for the year and beyond
