Job Title: Underground Cable Placer
Location: Fort McMurray, Red Deer, Edmonton

Job Summary
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Underground Cable Placers to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the installation of underground cable systems, including fiber optic and utility lines, while working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install underground cables using hand tools and equipment
- Safely place cable according to project and manufacturer specifications
- Read and follow placing drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, utilities, or similar field preferred (but not required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working outdoors and in trenches
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
