Penner Farm Services and Horizon Livestock & Poultry Supply, the leading providers of livestock equipment, supplies, and services in Western Canada is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Lethbridge, AB location.
Key Responsibilities include picking customer orders, preparing and shipping intercompany transfers, receiving product and unloading trucks and trailers, and loading product onto customer and service vehicles. Computer usage, completion of warehouse paperwork and following strict inventory control procedures are required in this position.
Skills Required:
- Grade 12 education or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse setting
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with bar-coding software an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent internal/external customer orientation and good teamwork skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
